--- Comment #1 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2008-11-27 11:49:30 --- You forgot the +, so your log didn't have much in it. It did have the line
wine: Call from 0x7b8458c0 to unimplemented function ntoskrnl.exe.ZwMakeTemporaryObject, aborting
which is interesting... I didn't know Photoshop CS4 used a kernel driver.
Did you have something else installed in wine?
Does this happen on a clean installation (i.e. if you rename your .wine directory to .wine.old and reinstall Photoshop)?
Was this the retail disc, or the downloadable demo?

--- Comment #6 from Jamie Nadeau james2432@gmail.com 2008-12-01 09:01:20 --- how do I use the patch? it's just a .bin....
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15931
--- Comment #7 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2008-12-01 09:12:21 --- You don't need to use the patch anymore. It is already in git. Try wine-1.1.10 when it comes out, or alternately build Wine from git yourself. And let us know what happens!

--- Comment #11 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2008-12-01 10:57:18 --- Sounds like something's wrong with how you built and installed wine... maybe just wait for 1.1.10 this friday (or, more realistically, next monday before prebuilt packages arrive).
