Summary: Slingplayer unhandled page fault Product: Wine Version: 1.1.18 Platform: PC URL: http://download.slingmedia.com/player/pc/SlingPlayer- Setup-EU-1.5.1.exe OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P3 Component: gdiplus AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: kennybobs@o2.co.uk
Created an attachment (id=20295) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=20295) wine-1.1.18-169-g30041c2 +gdiplus
Tested in latest wine-git, but this isn't a new problem.
Slingplayer causes an unhandled exception when attempting to load the main window.
Workaround is using a native GDIPLUS.DLL
To get this far, a native qcap.dll and quartz.dll is required to work around bug 13371.

Tested in 1,1,20.
Unhandled exception occurs in GdipIsVisibleRegionPointI only following installation, after trying to click... anywhere.
Second run, everything is fine.
So native gdiplus isn't *really* needed anymore if the app is closed after installation, and reopened, which is odd.
To get this far, native qcap and quartz are still required.

--- Comment #3 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2009-05-20 08:44:52 --- Using builtin gdiplus, the page fault is back on every run. Workaround is native gdiplus.
Native quartz and qcap are still needed to get this far, as well as Wine compiled with gcc -O0.
Cause is unimplemented function gdiplus.dll.GdipIsVisibleRegionPointI

--- Comment #4 from Ken Sharp kennybobs@o2.co.uk 2009-06-22 16:08:23 --- Still present. Will add a patch which stubs GdipIsVisibleRegionPointI but native gdiplus is still needed as a page fault can occur, and when it doesn't the app is unusable anyway.
