I have one exe file which seems to be Photodex generated slideshow application.
It used to word perfectly with Wine in 2010-2012, but when I tried to run it
recently I got no output on screen.

Sound plays fine, and it looks like application window is created (it is
present on taskbar), but there is no window, no borders, no title, no output.
Well this slideshow runs fullscreen, but anyway no output.

I've managed to bisect this problem to:

Unfortunately code changed too much from that time, so git revert patch can't
be applied.

It's probably worth trying with a different manager. Otherwise I'd need a
download for that app.

I confirm this under kwin from KDE4 and openbox/LXDE-Qt.

There is no 5.0-rc1 in Gentoo yet. Just checked latest present 4.21 - bug still
reproduces.

I'm ok with sharing it with limited number of Wine developers but prefer not to
make it public to whole world :)

This may be worth retesting, there have been a lot of window management changes
lately.
