[Bug 3553] Kid Pix Deluxe 4 menus and text entry extremely unresponsive

Just tested again (this time with the school edition of
kp4), and it's a bit more usable than plain old kp4 was
a few weeks ago.  (Dunno if wine improved or what.)
Anyway, the splash screen sound has the stutter problem.
This may be related to bug 1631 (and a bunch of others).
I'm attaching a log with WINEDEBUG=+wave,+dsound,+dsound3d
