Please update to wine 1.5.22 and do "winetricks mfc42" prior to the program
installation. This will solve this issue and lead to the subject that is the
crash loading a video, I can reproduce that here.

even with 1.5.20, with mfc42 installed, application crashes on loading any
video file. So, let's make this bug about easy video cutter crashing on loading
video.

I think the original issue is fixed. Opened 3 different files and I didnt see
any crash when doing this. Took the program from comment 1.

Playing the video clip via the program doesnt seem to work correctly.

wine 1.9.20-git.
