POL installation will finish but when running the program error message says " Internet Explorer 9 or higher is required"

As stated there, you can get rid of the "Internet Explorer 9 is needed" by bumping up mshtml to version 10.*.* or so.
But even then it doesn;t start, there's traces of anticrack software here too like Call KERNEL32.CreateFileA(012191e6 "\\.\NTICE",c0000000,00000003.......)
Maybe that might be the cause of the crash. Google says it is called SoftIce,

As a suggestion maybe you could address this bugreport to the "Internet Explorer 9 is needed" issue, the other issues is then covered by the aforementioned bugreport
