This patch from Henri works around it. Apparently it's a bug in the glsl compiler.

According to my regression testing, this is the commit that causes the following graphical issue in Avencast-Rise of the Mage: the body of characters is white.
The patch in comment #4 corrects the issue in Avencast.

My Wine version is 1.3.0 (current git: wine-1.3.0-166-g277040d also shows the issue).

--- Comment #7 from GyB gyebro69@gmail.com 2010-11-12 22:28:38 CST --- Hello,
Since I've updated the Nvidia display driver on my Fedora box to 260.19.21 I cannot reproduce the issue in Avencast: the skin color of the bodies is correct now. (driver 260.19.12 is good, too). Reverting back the driver to 256.53 reintroduces the white skin issue again for me in each version of Wine. As I don't have Starcraft II, I can't test it but if I was correct, the issue should be gone in SC II with the latest Nvidia driver. It's worth a try...

Henri, is there anything to still fix in Wine, or should this be closed invalid?
