Multiple potentially related issues: - Insert Text comments, sticky notes, etc popups do not display text or allow selecting of contents - Often, when mousing over the icon for a sticky note, application will segfault (see stdout log attached)

Two backtraces: first occurs whenever winedbg attach to acrobat process.

Second is the segfault on use of comment popups

Open typewriter tool, enter some text, click off to save text, crash, write intrepid heroes at Wine.

Scientific Linux 6.5, 64 bit Wine 1.6 (the highest RPM EPEL will go).

Unknown. I am on 64 bit Scientific Linux 7 (RHEL clone). I have switched to PDF Studio, which is superior product and comes with a Linux spin. I never reinstalled Acrobat 8 when I upgraded to SL 7.

At least the text editing part of sticky notes is still reproducible. Typing text fast in sticky notes causes hangs with continuous spam of:
