--- Comment #4 from rgilland1966@gmail.com 2010-12-03 22:52:48 CST --- tried to attach file and got this.
What to do now?
The file you are trying to attach is 46399 kilobytes (KB) in size. Non-patch attachments cannot be more than 1000 KB. We recommend that you store your attachment elsewhere and then insert the URL to it in a comment, or in the URL field for this bug. Alternately, if your attachment is an image, you could convert it to a compressible format like JPG or PNG and try again

--- Comment #5 from Andrew Nguyen arethusa26@gmail.com 2010-12-04 07:26:28 CST --- Did you specify a particular WINEDEBUG channel? Only plain output was requested, which shouldn't be that large. If plain output really did yield such a large file, then use a compressor on the file.

If I remove the 64-bit glibc-debuginfo packages and install the 32-bit RPMs (you can't have both installed on Fedora), mstsc.exe runs WITHOUT crashing.
Also, with the 32-bit glibc-debuginfo RPMs installed, mstsc.exe still crashes on exit. wine: Unhandled stack overflow at address 0x7e532ab8 (thread 0009), starting debugger... err:seh:setup_exception_record stack overflow 924 bytes in thread 0009 eip 7bc5bdb9 esp 00240f94 stack 0x240000-0x241000-0x340000

--- Comment #12 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net 2013-10-12 08:11:51 CDT --- Hello folks,
can you recheck with _recent_ Wine version if the original problem is still present. The crashes from last comments are unrelated to original bug report.
I found some downloads for different RDP Client versions:
Windows 2000:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=80111f21-d48d-426e-...
(obviously too old to reproduce v7 protocol issues?)
Windows XP (update, contains mstsc.exe):

--- quote --- I can connect to a w2k8 box but get a crash on exit of the client --- quote ---
then this bug is fixed.
OP never talked about crash on exit but very likely about a failure to successfully connect at all.
Feel free to create a new bug about the crash on exit. Attach terminal and relay trace log created with recent Wine.
