Summary: Atmel studio 7.0.2397 crashes during install.

Steps to reproduce: 0) reset the wine environment: $ rm -rf ~/.wine/ && wineboot

1) Download Atmel studio 7: http://studio.download.atmel.com/7.0.2397/as-installer-7.0.2397-web.exe $ sha256sum as-installer-7.0.2397-web.exe f934c7f1a201a296e45303c464931dd1346f712b9db675a4512001f02dc55732 as-installer-7.0.2397-web.exe

2) Start the web installer: $ wine as-installer-7.0.2397-web.exe This causes the error "The program as-installer-7.0.2397-web.exe has encountered a serious error and needs to close"

My versions: $ wine --version wine-5.17 (Staging) [cedric@cedric-p4 Downloads]$ pacman -Q wine wine-staging 5.17.2-1 [cedric@cedric-p4 Downloads]$ uname -a Linux cedric-p4 5.8.10-arch1-1 #1 SMP PREEMPT Thu, 17 Sep 2020 18:01:06 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Retested with the offline installer: 0) reset the wine environment: $ rm -rf ~/.wine/ && wineboot

1) Download Atmel studio 7: http://studio.download.atmel.com/7.0.2397/as-installer-7.0.2397-full.exe $ sha256sum as-installer-7.0.2397-full.exe d0599256c4a8978b49d566a744e77fa1181726cbb75977fd0fa2abbc86fc7355 as-installer-7.0.2397-full.exe

2) Start the full installer: $ wine as-installer-7.0.2397-full.exe This causes the error "The program as-installer-7.0.2397-full.exe has encountered a serious error and needs to close"

Retested with older version(7.0.1931), as this bug indicates it installs OK: https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47755

Please wait till this weekend till Wine 5.18 and Wine-Staging 5.18 will be released, and do a retest.
