Within the past 3 days, the new git has stopped displaying certain text
correctly, and displays random plus-signs, boxes, etc., instead. 
This happens to me in certain installation screens of Dragon NaturallySpeaking,
and also in TED Notepad. TED is a simple Notepad replacement, and should
display well. 
I have posted several screenshots on the web. 
My current wine:
wine-0.9.53-289-g71f81bf

Hmmm.... 
My regression test did not work. Error pops up no matter what I do. 
Promise not to post any more regressions without submitting regression test
too. 
Error probably with my system.

Reason for bug:
package msttcorefonts was corrupted or missing.
