Bug ID: 47116 Summary: Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb: white line Product: Wine Version: 4.7 Hardware: x86 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: legluondunet@free.fr Distribution: ---
Created attachment 64326 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=64326 screen captures with white lines
Hello, to play Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb with Wine, I know I have to: - override dll msvcrt bug 27594 - disable vertex shader 12400
But now I have a new graphic issue with Wine 4.7 (even with staging version): look at the screen captures I joined to this bug report, there are white lines.

--- Comment #3 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Do you have a nvidia card? If yes, can you give a try with nouveau driver?
https://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=47116
--- Comment #4 from Le Gluon du Net legluondunet@gmail.com --- I tested with 0.6 rc1, bug is still present and effectively I have a Nvidia card. On other computer with hybrid GPU, I tested with: Nvidia: white line present Intel: white line not present
on another computer with Intel GPU, same result: white line not present
I don't think it is necessary to verify with nouveau drivers, I can reproduce this bug only with Nvidia card.

--- Comment #5 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
confirming, still present. I run a dual GPU setup as well (integrated Intel HD Graphics 4600 (HSW GT2), Mesa 20.2.3) and discrete via NV PRIME.
In my case a white rectangle artifact is visible at spawn if you look into direction of the overgrown gate. The location of the artifact in 3D-space / 3rd person view seems fixed though. It doesn't change the position when the character is moved.

--- Comment #10 from joaopa jeremielapuree@yahoo.fr --- Does the bug still occur with wine-7.0-rc3? I do not have the hardware to test myself.

--- Comment #11 from Anastasius Focht focht@gmx.net --- Hello folks,
revisiting, still present.
After 'winetricks -q vcrun6' you need manual app override for 'msvcrt' to work around bug 27594 or 'WINEDLLOVERRIDES=msvcrt=n wine ./EmperorsTomb.exe'

--- Comment #12 from Le Gluon du Net legluondunet@gmail.com --- I use a AMD GPU now with Mesa drivers and the bug is still present. I do not use any wrappers or DXVK, just Wine.
