--- Comment #2 from Austin English austinenglish@gmail.com 2012-11-19 14:27:14 CST --- A) Please retest in 1.5.17. B)
ALSA lib conf.c:3314:(snd_config_hooks_call) Cannot open shared library libasound_module_conf_pulse.so ALSA lib pcm.c:2217:(snd_pcm_open_noupdate) Unknown PCM default
you may be missing 32-bit alsa/pulse libs
C) Native dotnet may work better than mono, if those two suggestions don't help.

--- Comment #3 from Vincent Povirk madewokherd@gmail.com 2012-11-19 14:34:52 CST --- Sounds to me like the game is shipping with Mono, so native .NET isn't an option.

From the website:
---snip--- A known bug will crash the game on computers with some Intel graphics chipsets. ---snip---
I do have Intel HD graphics and in my virtual windows machine the game doesn't run either. Does somebody experience the crash without having Intel graphics? Otherwise this bug is invalid.

--- Comment #9 from Henri Verbeet hverbeet@gmail.com 2013-05-25 10:34:37 CDT --- It happens for me on at least nvidia as well.
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32237
--- Comment #10 from Fabian Ebner f.ebner94@gmail.com --- This bug is still present in wine-1.7.23, but only with the Summer 2012 Release. The Spring 2013 Beta Release runs fine in Wine and there even is a Linux version of that release. So I'm not sure whether this bug is worth hunting down or not.

Well for me it still crashes with the current git. Did you try the Summer 2012 Release? If so, maybe the bug isn't present on AMD graphics cards.

The question is: Is there someone for whom the game runs under Windows, but crashes under Wine? (I only have a virtual machine with Windows, where the game doesn't even start) Otherwise this bug might be invalid as well.

The Summer 2012 version runs for me in VMPlayer/Windows 7, but crashes after the intro on the same system in Wine 1.7.36. GPU is Nvidia GT630, 340.65 driver. Spring 2013 beta works fine in Wine.
