Stack dump showing illegal access in HTTPREQ_Read()

World of Warcraft is crashing when trying to download data in the background.
This is *not* a duplicate of #23875, because it is WoW itself that crashes and
not the Launcher. I have also already disabled P-t-P transfers as #23875
suggests.

This Is A Brand New Bug. Stack trace is attached.

I should mention that this crash happens most frequently on lower spec machines
that play at low FPS.

No idea, I only have Linux and Wine.

Try using winetricks to download and install wininet.

Hmm, what's the purpose here? Is it to help debug, or to try find a workaround?
(How can downloading a MS DLL without a license be legal?)

Unfortunately, the download has managed to complete and so the test case is no
longer triggered. I'll have to wait until there is more data to download.

There's been at least one significant game patch since then. Is this still an
issue with current Wine releases?
