Summary: Characters in Sims3 sim creator have blue skin Product: Wine Version: 1.3.0 Platform: x86 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: directx-d3d AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: eg.galano@gmail.com CC: hverbeet@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=30341) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=30341) screenshot
In Sims3, sometimes the skin color of a sim is blue during the character creation. If initially the skin color does not show up blue, moving the skin color slider makes the skin turn blue.
This regression was found using a GeForce GTX 480 and driver 256.35. I was not able to replicate the bug using a 200 series GeForce card. Could this be a driver bug?

At the very least search for duplicates and use a current Wine version.
The issue is still present in latest git. I was unable to find any duplicates in the db.

--- Comment #9 from Dan Kegel dank@kegel.com 2010-10-19 00:00:17 CDT --- Correct. It will not happen on a gt 240, only on the newer 400 series cards.
The bug has been reported to Nvidia as a driver problem, and they say it will be fixed in a future release.
