Bug ID: 52319 Summary: Wine iexplore continues to SSL site with unknown algorithm despite pressing No Product: Wine Version: 7.0-rc3 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: -unknown Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: dark.shadow4@web.de Distribution: ---
Created attachment 71481 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=71481 Patch to easily test the issue
When using iexplore.exe to open a website, it will issue a security prompt when visiting a site with invalid SSL certificate. Then you can choose "Yes" to proceeed or "No" to stay. When the certificate is invalid due to an unknown algorithm, iexplore will load the site when when pressing "No".
Attaching a patch to easily reproduce the issue. Should work on the default website, "https://winehq.org". Just apply the patch and press no, the site should not load.
