--- Comment #2 from Fernando Martins fernando@cmartins.nl 2012-02-08 18:35:09 CST --- that was with 1.4-rc1, sorry.
I tried now with 1.4-rc2 but now I even lost sound in the video clips.
I have been getting:
ALSA lib pcm_pulse.c:1008:(_snd_pcm_pulse_open) Unknown field handle_underrun err:winediag:AUDDRV_GetAudioEndpoint PulseAudio "default" -22 without handle_underrun. Audio may hang. Please upgrade to alsa_plugins >= 1.0.24
but I upgraded sometime ago alsa to 1.0.25 and it did not make a difference. I put it back to 1.0.23 because I lost mic.

--- Comment #4 from Andrew Eikum aeikum@codeweavers.com 2012-02-09 09:41:52 CST --- Thanks for reporting.
Could you get a 1.4-rc2 trace with the channels from http://wiki.winehq.org/Sound in a new WINEPREFIX?
Also, what operating system are you using? What versions of PulseAudio and alsa-plugins (called "libasound2-plugins" in Ubuntu)?
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=29838
--- Comment #5 from Fernando Martins fernando@cmartins.nl 2012-02-09 16:28:42 CST --- see the log for 1.4-rc2 with
WINEDEBUG=+tid,+mmdevapi,+winmm,+driver,+midi,+dsound,+dmusic,+mci,+oss,+alsa,+coreaudio
at http://cmartins.nl/stuff/dundef_wine14rc2log.zip
I'm running ubuntu 10.10. As mentioned before, alsa-plugins are 1.0.23 and I upgraded sometime ago alsa to 1.0.25 and it did not make a difference. I put it back to 1.0.23 because I lost mic.
Pulse-audio is 1:0.9.22~0.9.21+stable-queue-32-g8478-0ubuntu21.1. Sound configuration in winecfg is "default".
Something else I forgot to mention, when playing online, I can hear the voice of the other players in game. No problems here.
BTW, I'm afraid I won't be available for testing for more than a week.
