dradio-Recorder is a radio recording software developed by Phonostar for Deutschlandradio. Features: Livestreams of many international radio stations, time-shifted recording, programme information

When selecting a station (e.g. Deutschlandfunk) and pressing the play button, the connection is tried to be established but never is.
I attached the ouput of env WINEDEBUG=warn+all wine C:\Program\ Files\dradio-Recorder\phonostarStarter.exe > output.txt 2>&1
I suspect the lines containing cStreamPlayer::PlayUrl to be near the problem.

I checked with a clean WINEPREFIX and 1.7.18 (the most recent version I get for Precise) but I can't reproduce the error Bruno quotes. Strange...

Now the stream is there, but has many holes (almost every second). The corresponding "notes" in the terminal output are:

I used another way than Olibuntu to get further:
I was setting the sound to Alsa and installed the Windows Media Player cause I read somewhere (forgotten where), that some files of that Media Player are needed for dradio-recorder. I still have to test it without the Media Player.
I have the stream, too, but I have many holes (almost every second) and some smacking noises. The corresponding "notes" in the terminal output are:

--- Comment #7 from super_man@post.com --- This program does work for me. It seem to need winetricks -q wmp10. After that it could play audio files via stream. The audio was garbled for me (happens a lot with pure wine, but the audio was a lot better with wine-staging(pulseaudio).
