Bug ID: 53074 Summary: Subsequent webcam frames fail with "error dequeuing buf: Broken pipe" Product: Wine Version: 7.7 Hardware: x86-64 OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: quartz Assignee: wine-bugs@winehq.org Reporter: winebz@flaviutamas.com Distribution: ---
Created attachment 72492 --> https://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=72492 strace logs for relevent subprocess
When using VSee and opening the Settings -> Video page, the first frame is read from the webcam and displayed. Then the following is logged to the console & no subsequent frames are shown: "libv4l2: error dequeuing buf: Broken pipe"
I've attached the relevant strace & console logs.

--- Comment #2 from Zeb Figura z.figura12@gmail.com --- What camera are you using, and what kernel version? Is there anything interesting in dmesg?

--- Comment #3 from Flaviu Tamas winebz@flaviutamas.com --- Linux 5.17.5-arch1-1 x86_64
Nothing interesting in dmesg when the error occurs.
This was tested using a "UVC 1.00 device Logitech Webcam C925e (046d:085b)". I also have a cheap webcam, "UVC 1.00 device DEPSTECH webcam (0c45:636b)", which exhibits the same behavior.
I also just tested both these webcams using cheese & firefox (one webcam and one client at a time) and all combinations work fine there.
