This is what I am seeing as output from the executables with the file command: 
wodencafe@ubuntu:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Bullfrog/Keeper$ file
keepd3d.exe 
keepd3d.exe: PE32 executable (GUI) Intel 80386, for MS Windows
wodencafe@ubuntu:~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Bullfrog/Keeper$ file
