I'm trying to launch APK Easy Tool 1.50 on macOS High Sierra with Wine 3.0 and
3.3 but it does not launch and Wine closes itself in few seconds (icon
disappear from dock). When I launch it with terminal ("wine (path to exe)"), I
can see it has issues with System.Windows.Forms.WebBrowser. Probably because
the tool has an embedded webbrowser.

Looks like a wine-mono issue to me, it works after "winetricks -q dotnet40".

didn't know that but winetricks didn't work. got "taskset/cpuset not available
on your platform!" and "wineserver not found" error

Make sure you're running the latest version of winetricks. Don't know too much
about mac and winetricks, did you install it (and wine) properly? Also, if
something goes wrong, please provide a full log.

Hello folks,

as already commented by Fabian: the .NET 4.x based app works with native MS
.NET Framework (installer requests .NET Framework 4.6.2 if Wine-Mono is not
present/uninstalled).

I installed Wine 3.3 using .pkg. I installed Winetricks through terminal but I
forgot where I got it from. Do you know the best source to get winetricks?

Download it from the official site: https://github.com/Winetricks/winetricks

Also, install .NET with "winetricks -q dotnet462"

Well I give up then and use virtual machine instead.

This works for me with wine-5.18-128-gfa9f4a20f53 and wine-mono 5.1.1.

I think you might need wine-gecko to be installed.

We lacked WebBrowser support in Wine Mono until the winforms import so it's
likely this is fixed.
