Summary: Facewound crashes when in-game console is opened Product: Wine Version: 1.0-rc2 Platform: PC-x86-64 URL: http://www.garry.tv/?p=512 OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: P3 Component: -unknown AssignedTo: wine-bugs@winehq.org ReportedBy: asksteved.com@gmail.com
Created an attachment (id=13370) --> (http://bugs.winehq.org/attachment.cgi?id=13370) Log from fwound console crash
Attempting to bring up the in-game console in Facewound causes a crash. Attached is the console output from launching the game, starting a new game, and hitting tilde. A workaround is to bind commands to keys in settings/config.cfg.

--- Comment #2 from Casey Jones kcjones1@gmail.com 2008-12-09 18:54:50 --- Does not work for me on wine 1.1.10. I tried with a new usp10.dll, and still didn't change anything.
This is what I get from the console after pressing the ~ key. fixme:winmm:MMDRV_Exit Closing while ll-driver open

I don't know if I did this right, I've never done a winedebug before.
I put:
WINEDEBUG=trace,+uniscribe,+relay,+seh,+tid wine fwound.exe > /home/myLogin/fwound.log 2>&1
I did a little research to reach this, but I don't know if it was what you wanted. If this isn't right, just let me know.

wine: could not load L"C:\windows\system32\fwound.exe": Module not found
You should cd to the application directory first, e.g:
$ cd ~/.wine/drive/Program\ Files\Facewound $ WINEDEBUG=+uniscribe,+relay,+seh,+tid wine fwound.exe > fw.log 2>&1

Oops, I meant to be in the right directory. I know it worked this time. The log came out as 409mb, and I couldn't compress it small enough to get it on Bugzilla, so this log file I'm uploading is the last 1000 lines of the big log. If you need more, I still have the 409mb log.

--- Comment #12 from Steve Dougherty asksteved.com@gmail.com 2009-06-26 21:52:38 --- I'm still getting a crash even with a clean .wine directory, regardless of virtual desktop. I'm running an NVIDIA 9600GT with NVIDIA drivers version 185.18.14. Did you have to change anything to get it working?
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=13457
--- Comment #13 from nsandschn@gmx.de 2009-06-27 08:33:39 --- No, it works for me starting with a clean .wine directory. I have an ATI X1950 card with the open source ATI driver (radeon). Maybe the bug only occurs with NVIDIA cards?

--- Comment #14 from Casey Jones jonescaseyb@gmail.com 2009-06-27 13:19:39 --- I've got an Nvidia too. Maybe it does only work on Ati.
