Might and Magic Heroes VI displays the character polygons poorly. This hinders gameplay, because you see only part of your characters on the map or on the battlefield. A screenshot of the paladin character in the main menu is attached as an example.
This looks similar to a wine bug for The Witcher, see http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12771#c18 and comment 19, the screenshot attached by Kevin Meyer. This does not seem to be a duplicate however, as the original bug describes a bunch of graphic issues specific to The Witcher.

The bug happens occasionally and randomly : sometimes the polygons will appear properly and other times they appear like the screenshot I uploaded. The log for both good and bad cases is identical, so it's hard to tell what causes this bug.

I've seen this bug (at least one which visually looks just the same) on my system when been playing King'd Bounty: The Legend and even had been trying to debug it. What I had tried to do is to capture GL command stream using apitrace for the case when I hit the bug and for the case when I don't. Trouble was that actually it turned out to more likely be a bug in nVIDIA drivers as absolutelly the same trace had been producing both bugged and non bugged rended depending on something I hadn't been able to figure out. I had reported this bug to nVIDIA (made a post to the forum they had been using as an "Official nVIDIA unix support forum" a year or two ago) but it seems that this report didn't attract any attention from nVIDIA devs.

Open up regedit:
Go In HKEY > Current User > Software > Wine > Direct3D Create a new String Value with the name "MaxShaderModelVS" and a value of "0"
The game should now display character polygons properly.
Tested on:
Linux Mint 17.3 Nvidia Geforce GTX 960 with proprietary drivers 355.11 Wine 1.8 + CSMT (64bit prefix)
Haven't tested any other King's Bounty games.

AFAIK this is dupe of bug 34052
"CheckFloatConstants" fixes geometry glitches in Might and Magic Heroes VI demo.
