while this can work in _some_ cases, "copy over" installations are not recommended. You miss out all the registry changes, COM server registrations, shared assemblies in non-app directories etc., leading to a variety of problems.

For this particular problem it wouldn't matter but still keep it in mind.

In case of Adobe CC 2020 it needs bug 50407 worked around before getting to this.

I copied the full Adobe folder with all subfolders, so I don't think I missed anything.

I've found Audition 2020 on some external site which didn't require user agent spoofing and created a snapshot as well:

The sha1sum of the archive from the external site didn't match. File/payload dates 2019-11-10 vs. 2020-08-03 from Adobe site. The (older) content seems to be fine though. The package payloads are digitally signed. Anyway, this is just backup in case the download gets removed.
