I can confirm this issue in wine 1.5.12 using iview420.zip.

Can anybody confirm this for other applications?
I think the application treats the parameter wrong, because on my windows
machine the call
i_view32.exe .
accesses the files in ../, just like on wine.
So wine behaves like windows, the bug is probably invalid.

You're quite right, Irfan View clearly misbehaves even in Windows.

Resolving as "invalid".

I'm going to write to Irfan and notify him of this bug.
