So, lets say this is my folders: /opt/cvs/wine and /opt/cvs/wine-patches
I download the patches and save them all in wine-patches path. Then I run from /opt/cvs/wine: # patch -p0 < ../wine-patches/locale.patch and I get this as output: patching file dlls/kernel/locale.c
Is this correct so far?
So patch -p0 means start from where you are. patch -p1 means what again? one directory above or below? Please provide an example so that I can better understand (if possible)
