i use wine 1.1.21 when i load external bmp files in my vb6 applicattion sometimes load preoperly, however when i use a resource file whit bitmaps the application runs very slow the program have 15 picturebox and command button for call images,when run the program this is the messagges that i get C:\Temp>fixme:ole:OleLoadPictureEx (0x16fe6ec,1440062,1,{7bf80980-bf32-101a-8bbb-00aa00300cab},x=0,y=0,f=0,0x33faf0), partially implemented.

and this appears 15 times err:ole:ITypeInfo_fnInvoke did not find member id -514, flags 0x2!
i compiled again the project and put less picturebox in the last case i put only 1 and i get this error now but only 1 time.

i see in this version and previously 1.1.20 that the problem is in loading bmp files in wine because i compiled again whitout picturebox the program runs whitout errors, i think that the wine can`t load properly graphic extensions as bmp, gif, jpg, png ,i think that maybe the trouble is in that wine needs a properly own application whit mspaint that registry information for those kind of files or dll files for treatment this formats.

Wine give a good treatment to graphic files, the real trouble is ole, this process in visual basic gives treatment to applications through ole automation procedure, many ole errors in wine derivates to process whit properties of components, for example if do you put a frame in form and 2 command buttons for call the property visible = true or false inmediately wine give you a fixme whit ole however this is not a big trouble whit this property but about graphics the ole errors is more hard in wine because the ole automation process don`t manage all properties for example when you put a picture box or image box on form ole give you a many fixme especially whit top left height and top properties others is about picture container, i see in many bugs too many reports about ole file and i install some programs for see his behavior, and the most common troubles whit this is the ole graphic behaviors, i know that when this ole trouble can be fixed many applications like macromedia, photoshop, image analyzer, rpg based games and other applicattions works absolutely perfect in wine, i just wait finish the tester soon for download and use for show troubles in real time.
