--- Comment #1 from Vitaliy Margolen vitaliy@kievinfo.com 2009-06-09 20:50:12 --- And the problem is? Lots of games that can run on dx9 & dx10 trying to do something like that, get an error and successfully revert to dx9.

The application depends on this one, 3DMark Vantage requires Vista, so no it doesn't revert to dx9, since Wine implements the d3dx9_* dlls it seems reasonable that d3dx10_* will be done too.

3DMark Vantage requires Vista
It will be a while before Wine has working dx10.

And most applications don't require it yet. Doesn't mean we shouldn't have a bug for it.

--- Comment #10 from the.ideals@gmail.com 2010-09-07 09:09:40 CDT --- I don't get this error with 1.3.1 and I didn't even select the option to install the DirectX runtime included in the setup.
It loads and gets stuck on 'Initializing GUI'.

With wine 1.3.2, I now get the following error.
Thank you for testing. Then this is fixed and for the new "msvcp80" error should be opened separate bug report.
