The `deprecated` attribute support has been merged, if you don't mind rebasing and adding it to the few deprecated methods (no need to add the lengthy SDK header deprecation message, just a short "Use Point.Position.Latitude", etc should be enough), addressing this last nitpick and adding the `configure.ac` changes I'd approve the MR.
