Went ahead and stashed this commit to a separate branch, found [here](https://gitlab.winehq.org/flibitijibibo/vkd3d/-/commits/samplelod-xtra).
The current revision at least gets sample_l to be as functional as sample_b, so maybe this commit needs to be a separate MR altogether? (Francisco will understand this patch better than me, so I'll defer to them for this one)
