This seems to be causing some crashes on some test VMs (https://test.winehq.org/data/patterns.html#windowscodecs:tiffformat), and either this, or some prior MR as I don't see any change to those tests here, also crashes in info tests (https://test.winehq.org/data/patterns.html#windowscodecs:info)
