They are displayed as boxes (in Windows 2000 mode). The font still displays fine in the text area of Notepad. The symptoms seem identical to those for Chinese fonts described here: http://www.winehq.org/pipermail/wine-devel/2006-August/050160.html. This is confirmed with with Wine 0.9.13 - 0.9.19 compiled with an up-to-date fontforge (currently 20060703) on Arch Linux (Wine has been both compiled manually and installed as a binary package).
