The problem is with undocked toolbars which are incorrectly displayed. The problem is also with dragging them. They should be also draggable when I click and hold mouse pointer over title of the toolbar. Problem exists in AutoCAD 2008 and AutoCAD Mechanical 2008. I attached image that shows the problem. All cuttings were done with unchecked option "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows". Last cutting was done in MS Windows XP running AutoCAD 2007. When using the buttons on the Main Toolbar the icons which occasionally disappear and overall 3D performance is rather slow. You can mouseover the icons and they will reappear, but it isn't overly practical... Attached is a log. This changed after this commit: http://source.winehq.org/git/wine.git/?a=commit;h=4094ff025675a14e7572d975d… before this, the input box was even more broken, but the glyph was better - there was '×' (multiply) sign. Was is most evident is that the last character(s) is(are) not canceled. I attach a vertical concatenation of 3 screenshots: the first is the state before hitting backspace: I typed "abcdefghijkl" and added an inline image, the second is after hitting backspace (I cancel the "g"); notice how the last "kl" are not correctly canceled and the image is not moved to the left and the third is how it should have looked. No error message is displayed while hitting backspace (it complains about IME all the time but I think it's no big deal). I have seen this problem at least in versions 1.0.1 (under Debian testing, Ubuntu hardy and intrepid, both 32 and 64 bits) and 1.0.13 (Debian testing 64 bits). The situation is even worse under Ubuntu intrepid (32 bits OS, Wine v1.0.1) as text disappears as soon as it is typed (Esc redisplays it briefly). I can live with the image (visible at the end of the line) not correctly positioned after backspace (it seldom occurs), but the last character not canceled is a real (visual) pain. I can test anything you wish and I understand programming/debugging. Thank you for any help. Standard Window Manager (using KDE 4.2 KWin) actions are effectless: * Hitting Alt+F3, selecting "Minimize" does not work * Hitting Alt+F3, selecting "Always in background" does not work * Hitting Alt+F3, selecting "To desktop #..." does not work. The only thing that allows me to continue the installation is to hold the Alt-key, click and hold the mouse on the window and move it to the second screen. Then I can proceed installation. A freeware version can be downloaded from http://www.hex-rays.com/idapro/idadownfreeware.htm The background colour of the scrollbars at the bottom and right edges of the disassembly window is white in Wine. They should be a grey/white crosshatch pattern. Strangely, this issue seems to apply only to the disassembly window; scrollbars for other windows (for example text search results windows) have the correct background. To reproduce: download and install IDA Pro freeware version. Run the program, and open a Windows executable. Notice the white scrollbar backgrounds. Choose Search/text... (or press Alt-T) and enter some text which appears several times in the program (e.g. mov). The resizing handles should be visible when clicking an object with the select tool. By contrast, the turning/shearing handles are visible. The turning/shearing handels appear when clicking an object twice with the select tool. Additionally, Bezier handles and points on curves do appear, but in wrong colors (cyan instead of red). Bezier handles and points appear when using the edit shape tool. This is on a wine 1.1.2 install on Ubuntu Linux 8.04 in its standard settings. The same bug is present when using Xara Xtreme X1, which is the thirdlast edition. The bug is also present in earlier versions of wine (e.g. 0.9.56) and CrossOver (e.g. 7.0.1).
