The key message seems to be: >fixme:advapi:SetNamedSecurityInfoW L"C:\\windows\\profiles\\rtoren\\Local Settings\\Application Data\\Apple Computer\\QuickTime\\QuickTime.qtp" 1 4 (nil) >(nil) (nil) (nil) >err:ntdll:RtlpWaitForCriticalSection section 0x7e53a4c0 "x11drv_main.c: X11DRV_CritSection" wait timed out in thread 0023, blocked by 0047, retrying (60 sec) Wine 1.0.1 (Ubuntu 8.10) calls the wine debugger, and the app just sits there.
