The two commits seem to provide an infrastructure with which the relevant messages could be distributed to applications, but the do nothing to actually detect the keyboard change event. Without that, this is just dead code that will never be actually called. Downloaded, compiled and ran the test program. Works on Windows XP. Doesn't work on Wine freshly compiled out of git. Bug is still open, sorry. If I set to OnPerfomance I have a way better performance - though it still isn't as good as in Windows though. I am using a nVidia 9600 GT Green Edition with the 190.25 driver.
