If you describe what happens and send a report, bug splat starts transmitting something but will never finish. The little 'sending error report'-window can not be shut down. You have to use the gnome-system monitor to shut down that process. I think this bug should be prioritised so that the google developers see the Sketchup crashes, and can go on to fix the bugs.
