Reproducible in the demo and the Steam version as well. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1690/Space_Empires_V/ The game displays an in-game window when such a file is about to load: 'File Missing - Could not load file: c:\program files\strategy first\malfador machinations\space empires v demo\pictures\models\ing_01.bmp' followed by 'Could not load file: c:\program files\strategy first\malfador machinations\space empires v demo\pictures\models\p01.bmp' As a result, some planets are displayed without textures. Note, the actual files that the game is trying to load are 'ring_01.bmp' and 'RP01.bmp' and they do exist in the given directory, but the first character of the filename is truncated by Wine for some reason. Starting from wine 6.12, Battle.net application takes a lot of time to start (more than 5 minutes). When started, it does not render content. Sometimes, after several attepmts to reload, the content is rendered. The issue persists in 6.13 and 6.14 too. I tried to install in fresh prefix, but with 6.14, after more than 10 minutes in state "Updating Battle.net update Agent", I gave up. With 6.11, installation completed in about 1 minute. [Reproducer] 1. Start redshift and ensure it entered sunset color. Better use -l LAT:LON to fake that you are in somewhere sun is already set. Default redshift will use randr backend to reset the color temp, so no extra setting is needed to reproduce. And default redshift will use 5500K for daytime and 3500K for nighttime, so the color temp change will be quite obvious. 2. Start wine GUI program I'm using Startcraft2 an galgame called "月に寄り添う乙女の作法2", both of them cause the display color temperature reset for several seconds. I reproduced with the Battle.Net Installer directly, downloaded from here: https://www.blizzard.com/en-us/download/confirmation?platform=windows&local… (shasum seems to give me something different each time I download it again) The error dialog the installer shows says "More help: BLZBNTBTS0000005C". Logs from the installer in attachments.
