Video is not rendered, but audio is played. Starting the game in a virtual desktop does not help, it only replaces the black screen with the blue background of the virtual desktop. The videos can still be skipped, so this does not prevent reaching the game menu and starting a game. All GStreamer plugins are installed (base, good, ugly, bad, libav). Despite the bug metadata being set to WINE 9.8, the current 9.9 build is affected too (but is not proposed when opening a new bug report). This behaviour has been noticed on a Wayland setup with an AMD GPU and Mesa drivers. I should be able to try reproducing it on X.org and with nVIDIA non-free drivers too, I will report back once it is done. The computer beeps when the window is clicked. The window does not react to the X to close, but it does react to the minimize button. Afterwards the window can not be restored again. The installer did install the needed files, as VSCodium did gain git capabilities. To reproduce: Download git for windows: https://github.com/git-for-windows/git/releases/download/v2.43.0.windows.1/… $ rm -rf ~/wine-tmp/ $ mkdir ~/wine-tmp $ export WINEPREFIX=~/wine-tmp $ cd ~/wine-tmp $ cp ~/Downloads/Git-2.43.0-64-bit.exe . $ wine Git-2.43.0-64-bit.exe Now the installer starts. Accpet the defaults. Now the installer does it's steps, and stops at "Running post-install script". When I ctrl-C in the console, the bash promt returns, but the installer window remains. I decided to try to tackle this issue because everyone on Lutris says the first solution to this bug is to disable DXVK, and the other one is to install Battle.net on a ext4 drive, although this is not an ideal solution for some users (like me). I found out that there is a bug that Battle.net cannot find the required DLLs, even though they exist in the Wine prefix.
