The game cannot be played. I tried Wine 9.0 and the result is the same. I also tried Wine 8.0.1 but there is an unimplemented function. I am guessing that this is not a regression. Work around is to use an emulated desktop. This work around also fixed an issue where nothing is drawn when disabling full screen mode within the game. Reader 11.0.4 with flash support for viewing PDF portfolios installed on Linux Mint 15 amd64. I can open a fully indexed PDF portfolio, and I can perform a search and get back the search window with the results for the search across the PDF files in the portfolio. However, as soon as I try to expand the results for a file to see the individual search hits, I get a dialog with "Unhandled exception, page fault...". See attached backtrace. Same problem happens with older versions of Wine and older versions of Reader. The next problem is a crash related to d3dx9_36.D3DXAssembleShaderFromResourceW, roughly bug 12020. Work around this with 'winetricks d3dx9'. The next problem is that full-screen mode doesn't work (bug 21791). Work around this by telling the demo to run in a window. This prompts you to press N, and then crashes after you do, with wine: Unhandled page fault on read access to 0x0000001c at address 0x431c10 (thread 0009), starting debugger... You can hear the sound playing, but the video fails to load. The game seems to try to load the video again and finds itself in a failing loop, leaking memory. This issue (memory leak) doesn't occurs on Proton, but the intro video still can't be reproduced. It can be downloaded at http://www.denondj.com/engineprime Engine Prime 1.0.0 starts up successfully if d3dcompiler_46.dll and d3dcompiler_47.dll are disabled. If a track is added to the collection, and then played, there is no playback. No errors are recorded. Steps to reproduce: * Clean wine prefix. * Install Engine Prime 1.0.0 (link above) * Copy an MP3 file of your choice to somewhere under drive_c. * Copy another MP3 file of your choice to somewhere else on your filesystem accessible via a drive mapped in Wine, e.g. the Z: drive * Start Engine Prime as follows: env WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3dcompiler_46.dll=d;d3dcompiler_47.dll=d" wine ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files\ $x86$/Engine\ Prime/EnginePrime.exe * Navigate to the filesystem browser * Choose an example track (at the time of writing, the file must be under C: drive - see bug #43651) * Right-click, choose Add To Collection * Double-click the file to load it into the deck * Allow track analysis to complete if it is still going * Press play Expected outcome: the track plays Actual outcome: the application does not play the track, nor give any indication that it is playing or trying to play the track Additional observations: * Navigate to the Preferences screen (the cog icon in the top right) * Observe that the "Default Device" for audio output is selected, but no info about bit depth or sample rate are shown. * Testing sound through winecfg demonstrates that sound does work in other wine applications A terminal log capture is attached. Then click on exit, a requester stating that there is a session running will appear asking for exit confirmation. This confirmation dialog is anomalous, the text on it appears like a tall vertical column. The following steps are needed to reproduce this: 1) install WarpEM according to [1] into wine-staging between v7.17 and v7.21, or wine-8.9 with nvidia-libs. (do not try with wine-staging 7.22 or later, because that has cuda support disabled). This has been testing this with "Shared WoW64" configuration of Wine. Trying to use Wine with the "new WoW64 approach" using -enable-archs=i386,x86_64 did also not work for me, because it failed much earlier when trying to install Cuda/WarpEM. 2) Data (5.5TB!) for testing is available from here [1]. Download and unpack Warpem_test.tar.gz to a directory that is accessible from wine. The screenshots Step1-7 should help to understand how M is supposed to be used. 3) Start M.exe. In my case, I do this ulimit -s 655360 wine $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/Warp/M.exe or vglrun wine $WINEPREFIX/drive_c/Warp/M.exe 4) Within M, do the following steps (see also Step1-7 in [2]): - Step 1: In the GUI window click "LOAD EXISTING FROM FILE" - Step 2: select ...\M_j33\Gag_c2_processing.population - Step 3: Upper right corner Refine button. - Step 4: Click refine - Step 5+6: workers are now testing the memory - Step 7: Eventually (after several minutes), one of the works crash, and there is no further progress. On Windows, this finishes and a new screen appears for the next step. This is not the case here. It gets stuck, and and eventually I stopped wine with <ctrl-C>. A log file is also available [2], but it is too large (1.1 GB) to be included here. If you have suggestions with WINEDEBUG filter should be used, let me know.
