Seems to loose focus on the wine window? Click on something, and the try entering a character, and nothing happens. Have to click on top of wine window to get focus back, and then pressing key works. I've noticed the with Pegasus email 4.91, but not sure if it is only with that app, or with many apps. Another user posted an issue with an earlier wine issue with Pegasus. But think this is new with 10.17. I've also noticed, that it seems to also have the XFCE bottom panel pop up at same time. Generally, it hides when not in use, but should only pop back up when mouse is moved in that lower area, but in this case the mouse pointer is no where near that area?? When Wine is built --with-mingw this can be worked around with arial (Bug 32342), but when built --without-mingw the workaround appears not to work. I tried with and without GPU-accelerated web views and it makes no difference. I tried adding the whole of corefonts but it makes no difference. Attached log shows the process trying to start before HUPing steam.exe. Built in a Debian Stable chroot. I tried Wine 9.0 but the result is the same. Wine 8.0.1 has other issues so I stopped there. It doesn't look like a regression, probably an updated client. This bug must have been introduced some time after wine-9.22, as wine-9.22 works fine. Usually, the second tab does not have this problem, and some actions trigger the header buttons to be redrawn, but they get overdrawn again at once. I tried to nail down the problem by vastly expanding RelayExclude to the 500 topmost function calls, an excerpt of the resulting log is also attached. The first time trying to run Powerpoint, the splash screen appears briefly, then Powerpoint just shuts down. The second time, a dialog box appears with the message "PowerPoint failed to start correctly last time. Starting PowerPoint in safe mode will help you correct or isolate a startup problem in order to successfully start the program. Some functionality may be disabled in this mode. Do you want to start PowerPoint in safe mode?" If I click yes, the splash screen appears briefly, then Powerpoint shuts down. The third time, a dialog box appears with the message "PowerPoint failed to launch in safe mode. Do you want to start Detect and Repair?" If I click yes, it just shuts down. The installer did install the needed files, as VSCodium did gain git capabilities.
