[...] I don't know if this causes my OS to not offering sound anymore. I can get around this problem by using a symlink but that approach isn't ideal - in the case I tried I also had to create a symlink for another directory located in the directory where the exe was located. I've enclosed a patch that allows the user to specify WINEWMCLASS in his environment and have wine use that value as an alternative to the default behaviour. Let me know what you think.
