But this fix is not included in https://www.spice-space.org/download/windows/spice-guest-tools/spice-guest-… much for latest). Upgrading the QXL driver to 0.20 from https://www.spice-space.org/download/windows/qxl-wddm-dod/qxl-wddm-dod-0.20… fixed the issue. Please upgrade the QXL driver for TestBots. Any cutscene in the game goes out of sync , sometimes basically skips the audio and repeats itself again. Happens with esync/fsync on. Tested on both normal Wine builds , custom Wine builds and also Proton too. Launching game without any winetricks verbs, etc. results in the attached backtrace and console logs. Executing: winetricks directx9 and removing all the Wine library overrides allows the game demo to successfully launch, display a training video and reach the main login screen (as it can get - due to the shutdown, last year, of the Gamespy Master Servers). I haven't been able to successfully launch the game by installing the individual components of the DirectX9 installer. The offer is a bit strange: the version 19.11.3 of the driver is installed but it offers to upgrade to 17.4.4! This snapshot does not have the Radeon GUI to avoid interference with the clipboard tests (see bug 47888), and with the sysparams tests (see bug 51362). But this also prevents disabling the upgrade dialogs.
