In Windows it works fine with same programs and in same type of native Linux programs it also does with same fonts specfied (for instance I tested that both "Liberation"and "Noto" fonts work fine in LibreOffice in Linux (not Wine) but none works in Wine. I think that Wine does not *provide* details - such as glyphs - to applications from the font file, if the utf8-encoding for a character is more than 2 bytes long. This handler also fails to open the links in the default browser. As a result, this prevents links from external apps being opened in the user's default browser. For example, when clicking on a link from Discord, it does not open in Firefox. This mostly works fine except it randomly freezes with error "Assertion failed: (info->count), function enum_tcp_connections, file sock.c, line 4327." Then Fiddler hangs completely and I need to kill everything via killall -m "wine*" and killall -9 -m "wine*" and then run Activity Monitor and force kill the last wine process to recover. It happens randomly, sometimes right after I start Fiddler but mostly it runs for hours or even days just fine until this happens. I checked the source and it happens here https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/blob/stable/server/sock.c#L4327 This method is called from here https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/blob/stable/server/sock.c#L4372 and here https://github.com/wine-mirror/wine/blob/stable/server/sock.c#L4380 I think it happens in the second place (as the conn needs to be set to reach that assert) and it can trigger when the first pass sets info.count to zero Not sure why this happens only in my case but in theory info.count being 0 in first pass is valid so the second usage could/should be run only if info.count from first pass is not zero? Certificate CN does not match 'Epic Games Inc.'" even though the MSI's signing certificate is valid on Windows. Reproduction: 1. Install/run Epic Games Launcher installer under Wine 2. Let it attempt to verify the embedded MSI payload 3. Observe the certificate verification failure dialog with CN mismatch Expected: MSI signature should verify successfully, matching Windows behavior. The broken shortcuts are missing the C:\lotus part of the path. I have tried installing it under the latest ReactOS (which uses the MSI code from WineStaging-7.3), under Wine-Stable 7.0 and under Wine-Devel 7.20. All of them encounter the issue.
