With the commit is reverted everything redraws normally. Softube provides a free plugin that reproduces the issue ("Saturation Knob"), but sadly it's not very straightforward to set it up. First you need some DAW software what can run windows VST plugins through wine, like lmms. Then Softube doesn't provide it's plugins directly but insists on installing them through their bloated downloader, which then insists to install several licensing services. I could not get it to work through wine and used a windows vm for that part. Once you get the plugin dll however everything works through wine, including "activation" (even for a free plugin) except that the UI is not updating. -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply. (Last time it did was with Wine 9 Stable Release) Upon examining the console output, i observed that every command attempted results in the message: "0120:fixme:powershell:wmain argv". Moreover, i am unable to start PowerShell itself, as it only returns: 0120:fixme:powershell:wmain stub. 0120:fixme:powershell:wmain argv[0] L"C:\windows\system32\WindowsPowershell\v1.0\powershell.exe" I plan to perform a bisect analysis when i have more availability. PS was installed on windows. I believe I used "winetricks gdiplus vcrun2010 vcrun2012 vcrun2013 vcrun2015 msxml3 msxml6 atmlib corefonts fakejapanese" to get this far. X ing out of the small window closes PS. Log is attached. Looks to me like it is stuck trying (and failing) to render web content? They come up in the grouped window list on the panel, but below the main window making them impossible to click. This happens at random after a long enough time working, but to replicate it without fail: drag out a canvas window over to another display, the main window menus stop working as intended. You can find more info about this issue in this github thread https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/8075 Even though it says it was a proton regression, I tested on proton 10 and proton 9 version, I also tested on Wine 11.1, Wine 11.0 and Wine 10.20, at the end the performance is almost the same on all of them, very poor, which means that is not an issue related to proton alone. Maybe this performance issue is identical to many games that run poorly on wine and it would be huge if this problem would go away. If you load a saved game, the game now won't allow picking up your weapon with 1 or 2, unless you brute force your way and hit the key for 10-20 times. But sometimes two tries will work. From then on, you can put the weapon back, and draw it again with the space bar. you can map number 4, 5, 6, 7 with magic runes for spells, these are not affected gothic1 is also affected this wasn't an issue in wine-10.0 -- Do not reply to this email, post in Bugzilla using the above URL to reply.
