+ | DESCRIPTION |
+ In many programs (mostly games, but also in other highly graphical fullscreen
+ programs) I don't get any keyboard or mouse response whatsoever when I'm in
+ fullscreen mode. What happens is that as soon as the game starts the keyboard and
+ mouse seems to do nothing. The system still catches if I press CTRL+ALT+F1 - F6
+ but the display doesn't change to those consoles, but when I kill wine (through a SSH
+ connection from another computer nearby) I'm in the virtual console that I tried to
+ change to. Both mouse and keyboard works fine when in "managed desktop" mode,
+ but in none of the fullscreen modes (unmanaged & managed).

Of course not. It's a fundamental problem.
One might want to reconfirm it perhaps, though.
(with severe messaging changes in between, it might just work now, who knows)

+ Just tested using my Programming Win95 CD.
+ Seems to work now, no more WM_KEYUP for each key repeat, only on final KEYUP.

I am the one doing all the work on Bugzilla last night
and today to close/resolve the bugs that are fixed and
remind people of the ones that aren't. I hit 1-100
last night and today and I will get 100-200 on
Tuesday, that should help cleanup some of the mess on
there ;)
-Dustin
P.S. are Jim or Susan at codeweavers still active in
the wine project, i.e. still working for codeweavers,
or are their email addresses just dummies now?

+ Just out of curiosity though, are you using your window manager's shading or
+ Winamp's?

Nope, the skin works fine under Windows.
I have tried using the default skin under Linux - the problem still occurs.

+ +============================================================================+
+ | DESCRIPTION |
+ One sees this best in programs that update their display each time a resize
+ occurs. For instance linedemo draws the diagonals of the windows, plus an
+ inscribed ellipse so that the whole window is redrawn each time it is resized.
+
+ After the first resize the content of the window does not change (visually).
+ After the second resize the content of the window is updated and matches the
+ size information of the first resize. After the third resize the display matches
+ the size of the window after the second resize, etc. This is especially visible
+ if you alternately change the width and height of the window.
+
+ It seems that in some cases this behavior does not appear immediately. In that
+ case, changing the focus to another window, possibly one that will obscure the
+ Wine window, triggers this bug.
+
+ Test program: chap04/linedemo.exe in the Petzold 95 (Programming Windows 95)
+ plus many others where the bug is more or less visible (chap04/bezier.exe,
+ chap04/clover.exe, chap04/metafile.exe, chap15/print1.exe, ...). This bug
+ plagues about 11 of the Programming Windows 95 samples.

+ Somehow I entered this bug twice :-(.
