Or only when launching regedit in the directory they reside. I got strange results because of the "!" in the name of the directory. launching regedit "C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\default.reg" returns: bash: !\Messenger\default.reg": event not found I must launch it with qoutes. but here i got file not found. Even launching regedit with the exact path given by winfile, I got file not found. Didn't see anything pretty wrong ... The undefined symbols come all from gdi, I gave it a look with findfunc. So what could I do ? Also the native d3d8.dll is not useable in your case, since it references internal DDRAW functions.
