This yeilds incorrect results most of the time. We need to do either one of: A. Make sure this unmapping is unnecessary (almost always a result of internal A->W conversions). or B. Perform internal messaging to find out what the number should really be. The problem is that at the time of processing the WM_GETTEXTLENGTH, the function has no way of actually knowing the real length, as it doesn't have the actual string.
