Summary: Quicken 2001 Deluxe Quits
Product: Wine
Version: 20030508
Platform: Other
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: blocker
Priority: P2
Component: wine-winelib
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.com
ReportedBy: roz(a)one.net
This program used to run fine with Wine back in the 2002 and early 2003 versions
of Wine.
Now it will crash after opening the main window, and pops up a dialog box, which
is unreadable (the icon looks like Dr. Watson).
I ran it with winedbg and this is the output before the crash.
First chance exception: page fault on read access to 0x00000005 in 32-bit code
(0x4098d044).

Summary: Advanced Archive Password Recovery -- unhandled
exception
Product: Wine
Version: 20030408
Platform: PC
URL: http://www.elcomsoft.com/archpr.html
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: wine-binary
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.com
ReportedBy: runderwo(a)mail.win.org
http://www.elcomsoft.com/archpr.html
This application (v2.20 03/2003) crashes WINE 20030408 immediately upon
starting. It is an archive password cracker, so it's quite likely to
use some nasty tricks that maybe WINE doesn't like too much.
$ wine archpr.exe
fixme:win32:PE_CreateModule Unknown directory 15 ignored wine: Unhandled
exception, starting debugger...
The executable has some sort of custom code section, so that might be a starting
point.
