This must be a driver-specific issue as others have reported it works fine.

RESOLVED (Well, almost):
Problem was caused by my 64 bit users installing windows Arial and Times Roman
fonts in ~/.fonts folder
Using the KDE Control Center to uninstall these fonts resolved the problem.
But some questions remain. This is definitely not the expected behavior.

In foobar2000 main window toolbars won't remember their position after restart.
Buttons, play order, visualization, and seekbar, goes some 'default' position
after restarting the player. No mater if you try to lock the toolbars or not.

I think that we should have some code in either X11DRV or ddraw /d3d that
overloads the winproc for the window and manages those kind of events.
This is needed for scaling the surfaces when the window is resized, so there's
no reason it couldn't be done for ALT+TAB or ungrabbing.
Personally I don't like DXGrab in desktop mode, because it makes desktop mode
pointless.

Summary: Foobar2000 Preference dialog won't work like it should
Product: Wine
Version: 20050930
Platform: PC
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: P4
Component: wine-misc
AssignedTo: wine-bugs(a)winehq.org
ReportedBy: askoff(a)luukku.com
The left side configuration tree is messed up in foobar2000 Preference dialog.
Few first lines are hidden and can be accessed only by using keyboard arrow
keys. If the + button is cliked front of the branch in settings tree the whole
list act's weard.
