Having read bug 3236 (which might be related to this one) I this debug is run while using native rpc,ole32 and oleaut. I did not have native dcom98 so I couldn't try that, which might be a reason for my failure. Needless to say I still couldn't get it to work, but at least it seems like I got a bit further with the native dlls. But I hope this bug can be fixed so that the installation can work without native windows dlls, in case that is what I'm missing.
